It was here that we found the original motif that inspired this wallpaper. The pattern was originally part of a stenciled wall decoration and comes from the wall paintings that adorned the farm until the 1860s. Stencil painting dates back to the Middle Ages but reached its peak during the 18th and 19th centuries. Decorating walls
